Debra joined the Elder Law Practice of Timothy L. Takacs as an Elder Care Coordinator in 2006, bringing ten years of experience as a discharge planner with a major Nashville hospital to serve Elder Law Practice clients. This experience gives her a special understanding of the needs and challenges facing the elderly and their families during every phase of the care continuum.

A Licensed Master Social Worker, Debra is active in her profession. She has been a member of the Mid-Cumberland Council of Healthcare Social Workers since 1997 and served on that organization's Board of Directors for four years. She is a member of the Senior Services Network and a former member of its Board of Directors. As a member of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, she has played a major role in the development of educational programs for care coordinators. 

Debra recently earned a Certificate of Completion from the University of Florida and the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association for successful completion of a 120-hour Elder Care Coordination course offered by the university.

In her spare time, Debra enjoys organizing family photographs into scrapbooks that lovingly document her family heritage.
