As Elder Care Coordinator, Patsy serves clients in the Upper Cumberland region. She provides client counseling, support and advocacy along with education and individualized coordination of services.

In her 33 years as a Registered Nurse, Patsy Gentry has served in a wide range of roles including medical/surgical, critical care and home health care nursing. Prior to joining Elder Law Practice in 2005, Patsy spent her last four years with the Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging where she served as Manager for Home and Community Based Services. In this capacity, Patsy contributed to the development and initial implementation of the new statewide Medicaid Waiver for Home and Community Based Services. She enrolled the first person in the new Tennessee program. Patsy also spent ten years as Director of Nursing in custodial care facilities in Michigan and Tennessee.

Patsy earned an A.A.S. degree in Nursing from the Macomb Community College in Clinton Township, Michigan. She recently earned a Certificate of Completion from the University of Florida and the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association for successful completion of a 120-hour Elder Care Coordination course offered by the university.

Patsy is a member of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association Board of Directors.
