What is the Time Out Workshop?
The Time Out Workshop is a day-long continuing education event that gives professionals who serve the long-term care community the opportunity to earn continuing education credit in a fun and relaxing environment. This event takes place each June at One Century Place Conference Center in Nashville.
Who should attend?
- Social Workers
- Discharge Planners
- Case managers
- Nursing Home Administrators
- Assisted Living Center Administrators
- Personnel from senior center organizations, retirement communities, hospice, etc.
Are there CEUs?
Yes. TheTime Out Workshop presentations typically offer 5 CEUs (including ethics) for social workers. Certificates of Attendance and program information will be available for documentation.
What's the event like?
It's a relaxing and inspiring event that includes networking opportunities, vendor exhibits, good food, fun door prizes, and surprises. Check out a recap and pictures from the 2016 Time Out Workshop.
Are there vendor opportunities?
Yes. If you own or manage a business that provides goods, services or support to people who are caring for elderly loved ones or the professionals that support them, a sponsoring vendor spot may be for you. We accept vendor registrations starting in February. Join our vendor mailing list to be notified when vendor registration opens.
If I want to attend as a participant, when can I register?
Registration opens in April. The event sells out every year, often weeks in advance. Join our participant mailing list to be notified when registration begins.
