Free Seminar Offers Help with Veterans Benefits

Elder Law Practice of Timothy L. Takacs and VFW Post 9851 are co-hosting Making the Most of Veterans Benefits, a free educational seminar for veterans, surviving spouses and concerned family members from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Hendersonville VFW at 73R New Shackle Island Road in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

“Veterans of all ages come to us with questions about how the system works, how to navigate the application process and how to access resources for caregivers,” said Dave Moomy, Commander of VFW Post 9851. “This event gives people the opportunity to hear about all the benefits at the same time and to make sure they’re accessing all the benefits they’re entitled to.”

Veterans of all conflicts and all branches of service along with their families are encouraged to attend. Panelists will explain the basics of veterans’ benefits and answer audience questions. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the program starts at 8:30 a.m.  A free Continental breakfast will be served.
