It is now more widely known that older people are living longer and (for some) living healthier, what does the research show? What does the future look like for people now in their 60s and 70s? Although the news looks good for the elderly, there appears to be a dark cloud on the horizon looming for people under age 65.
Forty percent of people don’t know that the Affordable Care Act, which authorized health insurance exchanges, is a valid law according to an April survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation. A more recent survey reported most people get their information related to the ACA from admittedly unreliable sources, predominantly social media.
