Sandy Reynolds joined the staff of the Elder Law Practice as a Elder Care Coordinator in October 2003. Sandy's previous experience includes Director of the Senior Care Network at Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency where she was responsible for coordinating home-and-community-based services for home health patients. Prior to that she served as the District Long-term Care Ombudsman for five years, resolving complaints against nursing homes and advocating for the residents.
She is a specialist in long-term care issues regarding seniors, such as elder abuse, residents rights, regulations and community resources for the elderly. Sandy has extensive experience in customer relations, in both private business and government. She is a member of Senior Services Network, National Citizens Coalition for Nursing Home Reform, worked on the State Taskforce for Elder Abuse, and acted as Treasurer of Tennessee Eden Alternative Coalition and State Representative for NCCNHR.
Sandy received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Springfield, a Paralegal Certification from Southeastern Career College, and a Certification in Geriatrics from Meharry College of Medicine.
