Cathy Danton is often the first person people interact with when they call or visit Takacs McGinnis Elder Care Law. As the firm’s receptionist, she answers the phones, makes appointments, and provides administrative support to members of the Takacs McGinnis staff.

Before joining Takacs McGinnis, Cathy held executive assistant roles for companies in the legal, manufacturing, and insurance industries. A native of Putnam County, Cathy lived in Maryland before returning to Tennessee in 2019 to help care for her mother, who has mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease.

Making a difference in people’s lives is important to Cathy. “The services that we offer here are desperately needed and often overlooked,” Cathy notes. “I like knowing that we offer something that people actually need.”

Cathy and her husband, William, have three children. Daughter Alison lives in Denver, and sons Grayson and Dylan attend high school in Hendersonville.
