COVID-19 Update

Even as Covid-19 restrictions begin to ease, the health and well-being of our clients and staff are paramount at Johnson McGinnis Elder Care Law. We are committed to a safe environment and have the following measures in place to promote client and staff safety.

Sick employees are required to stay at home

Employees with symptoms of acute respiratory illness may not come to work until they are free of fever, signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
As frequent visitors to senior care communities, our staff is intimately familiar with the appropriate protocol. Hand sanitizer and tissues are available in all meeting spaces and work areas.

Social Distancing

The CDC defines social distancing as “remaining out of congregate settings, avoiding mass gatherings, and maintaining distance from others when possible.” At Johnson McGinnis Elder Care Law our multiple conference rooms allow us to meet with our clients in a comfortable environment while maintaining the CDCs recommended distances.

Virtual Meetings

Our current technology allows us to meet “virtually” with our clients who are unwell or who would prefer not to travel to our offices.

In-Person Meetings

To protect yourself and our team we encourage you to wear a protective mask or face covering and ask that you stay home if you have a fever, cough, are symptomatic or have been around anyone with a confirmed Covid-19 diagnosis in the last 14 days.
