After 25 years of service to Takacs McGinnis, long-term office manager Lisa Proctor has retired. When Lisa announced her decision, another seasoned team member, one whose face you will recognize, was ready to step in.
Chelle Guidry joined the firm as receptionist twelve years ago, moved up to legal assistant, and is now the firm’s office manager. “Chelle was the perfect choice for the position,” said founding partner Tim Takacs. “When someone who has been with the firm for 25 years leaves, institutional knowledge is often lost. We were fortunate to have another tenured team member step up. The office manager role was a logical move for Chelle and a great benefit to the firm. Her constant quest for process improvement fits in nicely with the firm’s core values of excellence and innovation.”
Chelle said that she is always looking for advancement and feels fortunate to have had that opportunity at Takacs McGinnis. “I feel like I’ve grown up with the firm,” she said. “I’m grateful to be here.”
